COMPARE
Systeme.io or Leadpages: a whole funnel with a free plan, or pages with unlimited traffic?
Systeme.io is an all-in-one: pages, checkout, email, courses and an affiliate program under one login, free up to 2,000 contacts and $17 per month for 5,000. Leadpages is a landing page and conversion tool: unlimited traffic on every plan, A/B testing from Grow, but checkout, email and courses come from tools you connect. It has no free plan, only a 7-day trial. Selling your own offer on a budget: Systeme.io. Already running a mailer and checkout and wanting pages that test and convert: Leadpages.

Systeme.io and Leadpages both publish pages, but they stop at very different points. Systeme.io carries the whole sale: the page, the order form with upsells and order bumps, the email sequence after it, the course the buyer accesses and the affiliates who promote it. Leadpages builds and optimizes the page, then hands the lead or the buyer to the tools you connect: your mailer, your CRM, your payment processor. The question is not which builder is better, it is how much of the funnel you want one subscription to run.
Systeme.io: the full funnel, free to start
Per the official pricing page, the free plan covers 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels and 1 course with no credit card. Startup ($17 per month) lifts that to 5,000 contacts, 10 sales funnels and 5 courses; Webinar ($47 per month) to 10,000 contacts, 50 funnels, 20 courses and evergreen webinars; Unlimited ($97 per month) removes the caps on contacts, funnels and courses. All plans list unlimited email sends, no transaction fees on Stripe or PayPal and affiliate program management. The displayed Startup price may be promotional.

Leadpages: pages, traffic and testing
Leadpages now splits its plans in two groups on its official pricing page. Publishing plans: Pro (25 pages, 1 custom domain, 1 blog) and Business (50 pages, 2 custom domains, 2 blogs, lead CSV export). Testing and optimization plans: Grow (unlimited pages, 4 custom domains, manual A/B testing, dynamic text replacement, lead enrichment) and Optimize (6 custom domains, Smart Traffic, heatmaps, multivariate testing), with Scale above for the full auto-optimization loop. Unlimited traffic and no overage fees apply on every plan. Each plan starts with a 7-day free trial that needs a card.
Prices are localized by region. Observed from Europe: Pro €29 per month, Business €49 per month, Grow €115 per month, Optimize €229 per month; dollar visitors see different amounts. Confirm the amount shown to you on Leadpages' pricing page. Full detail: the Leadpages guide and its plans.

The real cost is the stack around the pages
On price alone Leadpages' Pro plan and Systeme.io's Startup plan sit in the same range, but they do not buy the same thing. With Leadpages you still pay for an email tool, a checkout or payment page and, if you sell a course, a course host. With Systeme.io those are in the plan, and the free plan already runs a small offer end to end. The comparison flips if you already pay for those tools and are happy with them: then Leadpages adds only the pages and the testing, and Systeme.io would duplicate what you have. Put both scenarios in the cost calculator, and see connecting a funnel builder to an existing mailer if you plan to keep yours.
Where Leadpages is the better pick
Leadpages earns its place when the page itself is the lever: paid traffic campaigns where every point of conversion matters, many landing pages to test, ad copy to match on the page with dynamic text, heatmaps to read. Its testing tools start at Grow and go further on Optimize, with no cap on visitors to worry about when a campaign takes off. Systeme.io lists A/B tests in its plan grid, but it is not built around continuous page optimization.
Verdict by profile
Starting out, or selling a course, coaching or a digital product on a budget: Systeme.io, because the free plan already runs the page, the checkout, the emails and the course, and paid plans stay below Leadpages' testing tiers. Running ads to an existing offer with a mailer and checkout already in place: Leadpages Grow or Optimize. Agency or marketing team publishing many campaign pages: Leadpages Business or above. Wanting an affiliate program for your own product: Systeme.io, which includes one on every plan.
